Events

Single events are just that, single occurences (a "ring game"). There is no league functionality around single events. You can send notifications, track player responses, and manage comments.

Creating a new event

To create a new single event, click the "EVENTS" tab, then click "Create New Single Event" from the "Open Events" box. When creating an event you specify basic event information such as name, date/time, maximum number of players (players that respond in and are past the maximum number of players are listed as "alternates"), location, etc. You also specify a "Response Cutoff". After this date/time, players will no longer be able to change their response of "In" or "Out", but will still be able to add new comments.

Adding players to an event

Once a single event is created, you must click on "Event Players" to add players to the event. From this page you must click "Add Players" to select the players from your contacts.

Players can access event information once sent a "notification" e-mail. The notification e-mail contains a link that allows the player to view event information, respond "In" or "Out", and add comments (players have access to all events they are in). To send notifications, select "Event Players". From here you may select players you wish to notify and click "With Selected: Send Notification" Go!!

Adding players to an event

To remove players from an event, select "Event Players". From here you may select players you wish to remove and click "With Selected: Remove from Event" Go!!
