Enhancements and Bugs

RubyChip has a few known "bugs" and needed enhancements, so to keep you in the loop, here are some to be aware of. Thank you for your patience as I work to address them.

Upcoming Features

Features that may be, or are soon to be in development (in no particular order)

League Homepage - Provide an expanded "League Homepage" type area. This would allow for more details than currently permited in the league "Description" field.
Timezone preference - Set timezone in profile so that all times are not in EST.
Money Manager $$ - Manage money pools.
League Comments - Allow players to post comments in a general "League" area (similar to event comments).
Stats - More player and league statistic reports!!
Player login functionality - Allow players to create username/password accounts to access event and league information rather than using the e-mail invitations.
Player Image/Picture - Allow event managers and/or players to upload a player image/picture.
Response Start Date - Similar to response cutoff, this would allow the event manager to identify a window of time when players are allowed to respond (rather than just a cutoff date/time).
Group Players - into bundles... of players.
Multi-Language (evaluating possibility) - Switch to French, Spanish, German, Italian, etc

Completed Features

Features previously listed above that are now complete

Complete 11/19/06 - The "Players" page where players are select for removal and/or notification should provide an easy way to "select/unselect all players".
Complete 8/12/07 - Public Events - The Event Manager should be able to flag his/her events and leagues as public (via a public url) or private (requiring E-Mail invitation).
Complete 1/22/07 - League Scoring - Ability to only count the players top x results/games (or drop the lowest x results/games).
Complete 2/25/07 - League Scoring - Ability to award/penalize points to individual players by event. i.e. Awarding bounty points or penalizing for re-buys.
Complete 9/1/07 - Enhanced e-mail notifications - Options for e-mail notifications to both event managers and players.

Bugs

Noteable bugs... soon to be squashed

"Modify Player Responses" and league "Rank" pages use draggable boxes for player ordering. Unfortunately the box numbering does not work in Internet Explorer. You'll have to use old fashioned counting.
Fixed 11/19/06 - Times are off by 1 hour (from EST) in some places such as last login time (top right) and event date/cutoff date.
Fixed 7/30/07 - In a league on the "Add Events" page, clicking on "Add another date field" does not work in Internet Explorer 7.
